about our mediation center

Here at Arizona Divorce Mediation Center, we specialize in Divorce and Post-Divorce Mediations. Our mediators are attorneys who have over 50 years of experience combined in family law and are frequently advocating in front of the family law judges. This familiarity with the current family law judges allows us to give you insight on how the judge assigned to your particular case may lean on certain issues. Our mediators are prepared to help you navigate through any contested issues and sticking points you and the other side are dealing with.

We believe in helping you reach a compromise that you actively participate in, rather than going to court and having a judge make critical decisions about your life. Mediation offers a less expensive and much quicker resolution to your conflict, often settling your case in just one session..

In addition to mediation, we also offer arbitration services, allowing you to hire your own private judge to resolve issues that cannot be settled through mediation. Our certified arbitrator, Steven M. Ellsworth, can make binding decisions based on the evidence presented, just like a judge, but on your schedule. This option provides a flexible and efficient way to resolve disputes without the need for prolonged court battles.

Our Mediation Center is equipped with 2 conference rooms and state of the art equipment such as a VIBE board which will help move your mediation or arbitration to go even more smoothly. We also offer our services virtually and will conduct mediation sessions over Microsoft Teams. This allows our mediators to “caucus” with the parties separately as they work with the parties to compromise and reach agreements.

Because every case is unique, you should speak with one of our mediators regarding the facts and issues involved in your particular case. The best way to proceed is to contact our office and schedule an initial consultation with one of our mediators.

Information sessions are free and last for approximately 15 minutes. During the initial session, the mediator will be able to review any court documents you have filed or received and will be able to answer your questions regarding your options, fees, and an appropriate strategy.

We look forward to having an opportunity to assist you in reaching a resolution outside of the courtroom.

What We Offer

Divorce Mediation Services

With divorce mediation, couples can reach amicable agreements on crucial aspects such as property division, child custody, and support matters, all with the guiding hand of our expert mediators. This not only minimizes conflict but also promotes a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Arbitration Services

We offer arbitration services for cases where mediation may not reach a resolution. This method provides a more structured resolution process, where a neutral arbitrator makes decisions after hearing all arguments. This option can be a cost-effective alternative to traditional court proceedings, offering privacy and faster resolution.
